- 1. Enter the days and numbers into two columns in your digital spreadsheet.
- 2. Transform the data by sorting the bottle numbers from smallest to largest: 5, 12, 19, 26.
- 3. Look for a trend. The numbers are going up by exactly 7 bottles every single day.
- 4. Make an inference! Since recycling goes up by 7 each day, we can infer that Friday's count will likely be 33 bottles.
