A sentence also needs a mark at the end. Use a period for a telling sentence.
Use a question mark if you ask something. Use an exclamation point for strong feelings!
✏️ Worked example
Fix this sentence using grammar basics: 'the dog ran fast'
- Find the first word. Change 'the' to start with a big 'T'.
- Check the end of the sentence. It needs an end mark.
- This sentence tells a fact, so put a period at the end.
- Write the fixed sentence: 'The dog ran fast.'
