Let's edit this draft sentence together: 'The quick frog jump into the cool pond.' How can we fix the verb?
- Read the sentence and find the noun doing the action. The noun is 'frog'.
- Find the verb that tells what the frog does. The verb is 'jump'.
- Check if the verb matches the noun. Since there is only one frog, we need a singular verb.
- Change 'jump' to 'jumps' so it fits the sentence perfectly.
- Write the new, correct sentence: 'The quick frog jumps into the cool pond.'
