A question mark asks something. It always looks for an answer. When you edit your drafts, check if your sentence is telling, exciting, or asking.

Let's edit this draft sentence together: "Wow, that is a huge turtle?"
- Analyze the sentence. The writer starts with 'Wow,' which shows surprise and excitement.
- Look at the end mark. Right now, there is a question mark at the end.
- Evaluate if a question is being asked. 'That is a huge turtle' is a statement of surprise, not a question.
- Replace the incorrect question mark with an exclamation point to match the strong feeling.
- The corrected sentence is: 'Wow, that is a huge turtle!'
