Imagine you are visiting a US state. It has huge, tall mountains. It sits right next to the Pacific Ocean. Which region are you visiting?
First, look at the clues in the story. The clues are 'tall mountains' and 'Pacific Ocean'.
Next, think about the four regions. The Northeast is rocky and cold. The South is warm and sandy. The Midwest is very flat.
Then, remember that the West is famous for its giant mountains and ocean coast.
Last, match your clues to the West. You are visiting the West region!
