Grade 5 · Geography · Free lesson

Hi there! I am Studyfin, your learning buddy. Today, we are going to explore the giant landmasses on our beautiful planet Earth!

Our planet Earth is covered by land and water. A continent is one of the seven largest areas of land on Earth. We use maps and globes to find them.

Let us look at how the seven continents are spread across the globe. Each continent has its own unique shape, size, and amazing places to explore.

We can identify continents by looking at their shapes and where they sit. For example, North America is in the top left, while Australia is a large island in the bottom right.
