- Solve: Add 3 to the last number. 9 + 3 = 12.
- Justify: Check if 12 fits. 3, 6, 9, 12 is a correct skip-counting pattern.
- Evaluate: The plan worked because adding 3 is a constant rule that fits all the numbers.
