- Determine the solution: Check which of these numbers is even. 11 is odd, 12 is even, and 13 is odd. So, 12 is the only option.
- Justify the solution: 12 is even because it can be divided by 2. It is also greater than 10 and less than 14.
- Evaluate the process: The solution fits all three clues perfectly, so the answer 12 makes sense.
