First, let's find the Mean (average). Add all the scores together: 5 + 8 + 11 = 24.
Next, divide that sum by the number of scores we have (which is 3): 24 ÷ 3 = 8. So, the Mean is 8!
Now, let's find the Median. Arrange the scores from smallest to largest: 5, 8, 11.
Find the score right in the middle. Here, 8 is in the exact center. So, the Median is also 8!
