Hi there! I'm Studyfin, your science guide. Today, we're going on an exciting journey inside your own body to see how it works!
Your body is like a busy city filled with amazing workers! These workers are called organs, and they all have special jobs to keep you healthy, active, and happy.

Your heart is a super-strong muscle located in your chest. It acts like a pump, constantly pushing blood all the way from your head down to your toes!
Your lungs are like two balloons in your chest. When you breathe in, they fill up with fresh air to give your body the oxygen it needs to make energy.
Your brain is the control center of your whole body. It sends super-fast electrical signals to help you think, feel, move, and remember things!
How do your heart and lungs work together when you run fast?
- When you run, your active muscles need extra oxygen to keep moving.
- Your lungs start breathing faster and deeper to pull more fresh oxygen from the air.
- Your heart beats much faster to pump that fresh oxygen through your blood straight to your muscles.
- Once your muscles use the oxygen, the blood travels back to your lungs to get refilled and do it all over again!
