- First, identify the nonliving parts. The soil, air, and water are nonliving components.
- Next, identify the living parts. The clover plants and snails are the living components.
- Then, look for interactions. The clover plants grow in the nonliving soil and drink the water.
- Now, look for dependencies. The snails need the clover plants for food and shelter.
- Finally, write down the food chain. The clover uses sunlight to make food. The snail eats the clover.
