Let's compose a short, multi-paragraph essay explaining how plastic trash hurts ocean life, and how we can fix it.
Step 1: Write the Introduction. We start with a hook and state our main idea: 'Plastic pollution is a major threat to ocean life, but we can take steps to stop it.'
Step 2: Write the First Body Paragraph. We explain the problem with facts: 'Millions of tons of plastic enter the ocean each year. Sea turtles and fish mistake plastic bags for food, which makes them very sick.'
Step 3: Write the Second Body Paragraph. We explain the solutions: 'People can help by using reusable water bottles and recycling plastic. Beach cleanups also keep trash out of the water.'
Step 4: Write the Conclusion. We summarize our main points: 'In conclusion, plastic trash harms ocean animals. By recycling and cleaning beaches, we can protect our oceans for the future.'
