- Next, think about what Mr. Green does. He puts out fires. That is work done for other people, not a physical product, so he provides a service. His fire department is paid for with tax money the whole community shares.
- Now, make a personal connection. Think: 'Have I ever seen a firefighter or had one visit my school?' Yes, a firefighter visited my class last year to teach us about safety.
- Finally, write a brief comment combining these ideas. Example comment: 'Mr. Green provides a helpful safety service. This reminds me of when a firefighter visited my school and showed us the big red truck!'
