¡Qué rico! (How tasty!) Let's learn words for food and drink — la comida.

Fruits: la manzana (the apple), el plátano (the banana), la naranja (the orange).

Everyday foods: el pan (the bread), el queso (the cheese), el arroz (the rice), el huevo (the egg).

Drinks: el agua (the water), la leche (the milk), el jugo (the juice).

To say you like a food, use me gusta (I like) + the food: Me gusta la manzana. (I like the apple.)

How do you say "I like bread" in Spanish?

  1. "I like" is me gusta.
  2. "Bread" is el pan.
  3. Put them together: Me gusta el pan.
  4. So "I like bread" = Me gusta el pan.
