AI tokens (Gemini)
Each lesson + quiz + retry calls a frontier model. We pay per token to Google — that's why the free plan has a daily limit. Paid plans are unlimited, under a light fair-use policy that only guards against automated abuse.
Premium voice (Cloud TTS)
Paid plans use Google's Neural2 voice for natural, human-sounding narration. It's higher quality than browser voice — and it's not free.

Is there a free trial?
The Family and Family Plus plans both come with a free first month. We won't charge your card until day 31. Cancel anytime in those 30 days for $0.
The free month is one per account. If this account has had it before, you can still subscribe — it simply starts billing from day one, and checkout says so before you pay.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards. Schools can pay by invoice / PO once they're set up.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade anytime in your account settings. We prorate.
How does bulk pricing work for schools?
Most schools start on the self-serve School plan — $49.99/month or $499.90/year flat — which unlocks full access for every enrolled student (no per-seat math). For larger schools or districts, per-student pricing typically ranges $6–10/student/month, scaled to seat count and expected usage, with annual and district-wide deals at the lower end. Districts that need to be invoiced against a purchase order are billed manually by our team rather than through the self-serve checkout. Book a demo and we'll send a custom quote.
Are paid plans really unlimited?
Yes. Family and Family Plus have no daily or monthly lesson limit — your child can learn as much as they want. A light fair-use policy only guards against automated abuse (it never affects normal learning). The free plan is limited to 3 lessons a day so you can try Studyfin before subscribing.
Why isn't the free plan bigger?
Every lesson, quiz, and explanation runs a Gemini AI model that we pay Google for, per token. The free plan's daily limit keeps that sustainable while still letting you try Studyfin properly. Upgrade any time for unlimited lessons.
Is my child's data safe?
Yes. We never sell student data. All sign-in is via Google. Lessons and progress live in your private account. Schools get a signed Data Privacy Agreement.
