Hi there! I am Studyfin. Today, we will learn how to name colors and shapes in Mandarin Chinese!
In Mandarin, we can name the things we see around us. Let us start with a bright color and a simple shape. Red is called 'hóng sè' and a circle is called 'yuán xíng'.
Let us put them together! To say 'red circle', we say 'hóng sè de yuán xíng'. The little word 'de' connects the color to the shape.
Now let us learn blue and square. Blue is 'lán sè' and a square is 'fāng xíng'. We can join them to make a blue square: 'lán sè de fāng xíng'!
