Hi there! I am Studyfin. Let us learn how to make a great plan for your next school project!
When you get a big project, do not panic. You can make a research plan to help you. A plan is like a map that shows you every step.

First, ask an adult to help you. Together, you can write down your main goal. Then, break the big job into smaller, easy steps.
Next, set a due date for each small step. Doing a little bit of work each day keeps you calm and happy.
✏️ Worked example
Imagine you have to write a short report about wild birds in five days. How do you and your teacher make a research plan?
- Ask your teacher or parent to help you look at the calendar.
- Write down your final goal, which is a neat report about birds on day five.
- Break the work into small parts. Choose your bird on day one.
- Find three fun facts about your bird on day two.
- Write your sentences on day three, and draw a picture on day four.
- Check your work with your teacher on day five and turn it in.
