First, we list all the tasks needed to finish the project. Next, we assign each task to a teammate based on their strengths. This step-by-step division of labor turns a giant mountain of work into small, easy steps.

Our Team Goal Sam Task: Writing Alex Task: Drawing

Finally, we set up a schedule with deadlines for each task. Checking in with each other regularly helps us solve problems together. If one teammate gets stuck, others can easily jump in to help.

  2. Step 2: Discuss your strengths. You love drawing and designing layouts. Jordan is great at researching facts on the computer.
  3. Step 3: Assign the roles. Jordan will research and write the facts. You will draw the diagram and design the poster layout.
  4. Step 4: Create a timeline. On Day 1, Jordan finds facts. On Day 2, you draw the food web. On Day 3, you combine your work and review it together.
