Bonjour! Today we will learn how to count to five in French. It is as easy as un, deux, trois!
Counting in French is super fun. Each number has a special word. Let's start with the first three numbers: un (one), deux (two), and trois (three).
Let us look at 'un' and 'deux'. One balloon is 'un ballon'. Two balloons are 'deux ballons'. See how the balloons float up!
Now we can learn four and five. In French, four is 'quatre' and five is 'cinq'. Let us count five bright stars in the sky!

Imagine you see three apples on a table. How do you count them in French step by step?
- First, look at the very first apple. Point to it and say 'un'.
- Next, point to the second apple. Add it to your count and say 'deux'.
- Then, point to the last apple. Say 'trois' to finish your count.
- Great job! You counted three apples in French: un, deux, trois!
